Updating address book in outlook
So to force your Outlook to sync with the Exchange server you can manually update the GAL.
In Outlook 2010, select the File tab in the upper left corner, then Download Address Book from the Account Settings drop down menu.
However, if you need to the address book to update sooner you will need to force an update by manually starting the synchronization process.
In general, the offline address book for an Exchange account will be updated automatically in Outlook.
